The Dog House

transparent-logo.png

The Dog House is an owner-led experience. It is not supervised by a staff member.

(However, there will be staff on site in case of emergency).

The number of dogs you bring should not exceed what has been booked for the session.

The session booked is for your exclusive private hire.

The entire DOG HOUSE area, and everything within it, is used entirely at your own risk.

You must determine what your dog(s) is/are capable of doing, and never push them beyond their limits.

Please do not enter The Dog House enrichment area until your allocated time slot.

You must exit the area promptly at the end of the session.

Sessions start at quarter past the hour, and last for a duration of 45 minutes.

A 15 minute buffer has been left between sessions to ensure reactive/nervous dogs have time & space to get back to their car before the next customer arrives.

We may also use this time buffer to conduct checks of the area between sessions (randomly) throughout the day.

Do not wait by the entrance gate or fence if there is a session ongoing. This can distract the dog(s) using The Dog House area, and cause issues when they come to leave.

The Dog House is enclosed with a 7ft timber fence. It is NOT considered stock proof.

On entering the area, please make sure the gate is securely locked closed.

Please keep your dog(s) on lead until you have fully entered the area and you are sure that the whole area is suitable and secure for your specific use.

We cannot accept any liability for dogs who manage to escape, by any means.

Dogs must be securely back on lead at the end of the session before opening the gate to exit The Dog House.

Dogs should be kept in your sight AT ALL TIMES. This is important for their safety, as some equipment within the area can move, and you may need to assist your dog to use them. They may also need your support to solve/navigate some of the puzzles.

We require at least 1 person per dog, so that supervision and support is on a one on one basis. This also helps to enhance this special bonding time with your dog.

There are low lying items in The Dog House which can be easy to miss and trip over. Extra care should be taken to prevent slips, trips or falls.

Humans should not stand on, climb on, sit on or use for themselves, any of the equipment within the area. It is solely for the use of dogs.

Children under the age of 14 years are not allowed in The Dog House area.

All sessions must be attended by at least one responsible adult (18 yrs+).

You are responsible for the safety of your dog(s) at all times.

Treats will form a large part of most sessions, and as such, the smell of food or the odd stray treat may be left behind.

Please ensure that if bringing multiple dogs, they are friendly to one another, and have no issues with resource guarding food, as even the smell could be a trigger for a reaction.

In order to negate treats being forgotten or missed, please limit the amount you load at a time, and ensure your dog has found everything before loading more.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your dog will not find the odd missed treat left by an earlier customer.

We cannot accept any liability or responsibility for any illness or death caused by allergic reaction (or any other reason) from eating food found in the area.

Do not allow your dog(s) to damage/chew/destroy any of the equipment in The Dog House area.

Please consider both the indoor and outdoor areas as an 'indoor facility'- this is not an area to be used for toileting your dog. Please use the specific toilet area before starting your session.

We do understand accidents can happen, especially with puppies. Cleaning products will be provided.

Please clean and disinfect any area if your dog fouls. Follow the instructions carefully, and ensure all products are returned and put away out of dogs reach.

Clean up after your dog and place poo bag in the bin provided (located at the toilet area)

Never leave dogs unattended in The Dog House area.

Do not tether your dogs to any of the equipment or structures in The Dog House.
